logo creation service
Logos are the foundation to your business and ethos as well as the top level style that your branding then rolls out from, so it's important to get it right. You are going to be seeing it many times a day so you really have to love it! When briefing a designer to create a logo, it is essential to have an idea in your mind of what you would like to achieve. The more information you can give, the better chance your designer will have of creating something you are really invested in for the long term.
To start the process, drop me a email with your brief... here are points to consider and include:
What is the business name?
Do you require a strapline?
What products/services do you provide?
How many years has your business been running or are you a startup?
Who are your competitors and what sets you apart from them?
Is there a unique story behind your business?
Who is your target market/audience?
How do you want potential (and existing) customers to feel when they see your logo?
And more specifically with regards to the design:
Do you prefer any particular colours or palettes?
Do you have any font styles in mind?
Are you looking for it to feature a graphical element or icon?
Is there anything you really dislike?
Once I have received your email I can then evaluate the brief and provide you with a cost, but as a guide the starting price is £75. If you require a hand-drawn digital illustration of your dog to be included (my very talented digital artist Husband does these for me as seen in the examples below) this will be an additional £50 per dog. If you would like to go ahead, the project will be scheduled in with an agreed timescale.
Due to the high volume of product-based orders I receive, I sometimes struggle to find the time needed to focus on logo design. On these occasions I will refer you to another graphic designer who I feel will be best placed to help based on your specific brief. This is also the case if you require a certain style of logo that is not in my skillset (e.g. cartoon/character styling).
