House of Henry gets a boost from Theo Paphitis!

23 Aug 2017

We are delighted to announce that on Monday 21st August 2017, House of Henry was chosen as a winner of Small Business Sunday by Retail Entrepreneur Theo Paphitis. The day before, along with thousands of other small businesses, we tweeted Theo about House of Henry during ‘Small Business Sunday’ and we were chosen as one of six weekly winners to gain a retweet by Theo to his 500,000+ Twitter followers. The weekly initiative, set up by Theo in 2010, now has more than 2000 #SBS winners and supports small businesses in the UK.

Business and retail entrepreneur and self-confessed Shopkeeper, Theo retweeted our entry to his 500,000+ followers and encouraged others to retweet too. We are also now profiled on the #SBS website www.theopaphitissbs.com – exclusive to all Small Business Sunday winners.

We are so proud to have won! We are still only in the initial stages of our company and it is tough to shine through amongst so many great small businesses in the UK, but Theo has recognised our hard work and helped to raise our profile online which we appreciate very much. We have received overwhelming support from our followers on Twitter, both current and new, and also great encouragement from other #SBS winners.

“We are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK. My vision is that everyone who has ever won an #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club; like-minded individuals who can share successes and learnings. The website will give a valuable profile to the winners chosen and I wish every winner every success.”

Small business champion and Ryman Stationery, Robert Dyas, Boux Avenue Chairman and ex-Dragon’s Den member, Theo Paphitis

We entered for a number of weeks before being chosen so if you run a small business why not give it a try? Anyone looking for a retweet from Theo should tweet him about their business on Sundays between 5pm and 7.30pm and include the hashtag #SBS. Six lucky businesses are retweeted every Monday at 8pm and then invited to enter their profile on the new website, attend the annual #SBS networking event and take advantage of the networking opportunities.
